Solicitor - Mental Health
Since becoming a qualified solicitor in 2018, Jakob has dedicated his practice solely to the field of Mental Health Law. His commitment to this specialization was affirmed early on when he earned the Law Society’s Mental Health Accreditation even before his qualification. Fueled by an enduring commitment to social justice, Jakob was naturally drawn to Legal Aid Law, viewing it as an indispensable mechanism for creating a more equitable society.
Jakob has a comprehensive practice that encompasses representing clients detained under Sections 2 and 3 of the Mental Health Act 1983. His client base extends to forensic patients, community patients, and nearest relatives. With a geographical reach that includes London, Kent, and East Sussex, Jakob has successfully represented clients in various locations.
